Most people don't know that walking on hard surfaces with flat insoles is the cause of many foot problems. The natural environment for human feet is soft ground, not concrete and thin carpet. Ours orthotics imitate the natural earth- grass, dirt, and sand- by using a proprietary mix of soft cork, foam, and gel. Most prescription orthotics are 3/4 length, hard plastic, and painful- as unnatural as walking on cement all day. Our orthotics are custom molded to your feet specifically.
We have a team of board certified Pedorthists on staff who will personally design a footbed that balances and stabilizes you perfectly.
After your orthotics are ready, we will custom fit and align your boots. They'll fit like a glove and you can enjoy the comfort and performance. Ski Tek footbeds will help you find comfort in your ski boots and out of them. Call or come in today to get yours made!

Our Pedorthists
Pedorthics is an under-recognized profession. But at Ski Tek, it's our obsession. We are trained to design, manufacture, and modify footwear and foot orthoses to alleviate problems caused by disease, overuse, congenital condition, or injury. We analyze your biomechanics, review complicated health factors like circulation and skin integrity, then formulate treatment plans that are perfect for your life and activities.
There are around 1000 certified Pedorthists in the US, but there's need for thousands more. There's an epidemic of collapsed arches in the US, due to life lived in bad shoes on concrete and unnatural surfaces. And in a valley full of adventurers, injuries are incredibly common. Pedorthics are more important than ever.
